There was joy as many year 6 students across Barking and Dagenham got their 11+ results.
Many secured places at their chosen grammar schools after discovering one year of hard work had paid off.
Students from Essex Tuition Centre based on Westminster Gardens, Barking, are celebrating an outstanding pass rate. Their current students are going to top grammar schools including King Edward (IV) Grammar School and Westcliff in Essex and St Edmunds College in Hertfordshire.
Shekinah, 11, from Barking, is looking forward to studying at St Edmunds College after passing both her 11+ for the private school and passing the 11+ for Essex Grammar Schools.
Devmin is looking forward to studying at King Edward (IV) Grammar School in Chelmsford and Ayo is looking forward to studying at Westcliff High School for Boys in Westcliff-on-Sea from September.
Parents are very pleased with their children’s results. Shahzad Rahim, founder of Essex Tuition Centre, said he was 'absolutely delighted' with the students' success.
He said: "These results are excellent and are thoroughly deserved. All the students and staff have worked extremely hard and to get these results is not easy. It's a tremendous achievement."

Essex Tuition Centre was set up in 2009 to provide education to students up to A-levels including preparing students for 11+ grammar school tests.
