The centre also provides mock assessments which are very similar to the actual examination. At the end, comprehensive feedback is given which enables the parents to see how much more progress is needed.

WHO IS IT FOR? All pupils who plan to join Essex Tuition Centre 11+ course. The assessment stands alone as a valid and honest opinion of the child's present position.

TIME: Appointments from 2.30 - 5.00pm
An assessment last about 2 hours and is designed to predict a child's likelihood of success in the 11+ examinations. Parents usually leave children and return later for the consultation. An initial assessment is a useful guideline for parents and teacher as a measure of the child's current performance and future potential.
