At Essex Tuition Centre we have set out terms and conditions to make sure the students get the most out of their time with us.
Please read and ensure you understand these terms.
Essex Tuition Centre is based in Barking, Essex to provide for educational needs of students from 5 year old up to A-Levels. All correspondence concerning the business is to be directed to: 88 Westminster Gardens, Barking, Essex, IG11 0BL.
Appointments
These can be made by telephone, e-mail or post. The tuition is based on the specific requirements of the student. Appointments can be made for weekdays and weekends.
Payment terms
Students are encouraged to set up a standing order for payment. Payment by cash or cheque, made payable to “Essex Tuition Centre”, must either be made at each tutorial or in advance for an agreed number of tutorials (for example a series of five weeks sessions).
Variation of fees and services
Fees may be changed and the services offered added to or withdrawn at any time. However, fees will not be varied during a course or other service in progress. At least one week advance notice will be given by the centre.
Cancellation policy
Please give a minimum of 48 hours notice of any cancellation of an appointment. If a student fails to give 48 hours notice, full fees will be payable. This will be waived only in exceptional circumstances(i.e. sickness, family emergency, accident etc) and at the discretion of the centre.
Late Arrival
Students should aim to arrive a few minutes before the start of their lesson time. Any student who arrives late can only expect to be given the remainder of their lesson and not the full lesson time unless agreed beforehand. Any student who is running late for a lesson will be expected to call or text to give an estimated arrival time.
Recommend a friend scheme
In order to qualify for the scheme, you must be an existing customer for atleast 1 month. The reward will be handed over as soon as the new customer has made payment for 5 lessons.
General
In the interests of the Student’s well-being whilst in the teacher’s care, the centre must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the Student.
